The Power of the Spoken Word
There is power in our words. The Bible speaks about the power of the tongue, how what we say has more influence than we often realize:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits (Proverbs 18:21).
What we say affects our health, too; are we building our health with our lips, or tearing it down? Is our focus on what we don't have, or health? On disappointment, or thanksgiving? These videos show the effect of the spoken word on jars of cooked rice, of all things.
